Clarity • Wholeness • Presence
• Are you exhausted from holding everything together?
• From carrying emotions that don’t quite fit into words?
• From doing your best – yet sensing something still isn’t right?
Many people I work with feel this way: capable on the outside but disconnected or overwhelmed inside. They often arrive not because everything is falling apart, but because something within them is asking for attention.
If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone.
Therapy can be a space to slow down and feel met — without judgement, without needing the “right” words. A place where you can stop trying to be okay and begin listening to what’s really going on.
About Me
I’m Alessandra
Let me tell you a little about me, and how I might support you.
I’m a counsellor and psychotherapist, and I work with adults who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or quietly searching for something truer to themselves.
Maybe you’re functioning well on the outside, but inside you feel anxious, flat, or unsure of who you’re becoming. Maybe you’re in the middle of change, loss, or burnout. Or maybe there’s just a quiet voice inside saying, something needs to shift.
Does any of that sound familiar?
I’ve worked in private practice, the NHS, education, and mental health charities. Those experiences, alongside my own life journey, shape the way I work: grounded, compassionate, and real.

I grew up in Brazil and have lived in London since 1999. My path hasn’t been linear. I changed careers in midlife, and chose a slower, more values-led way of living.

Living with ADHD and dyslexia has taught me a lot about difference, creativity, and resilience, and about what it means to feel misunderstood. It also shapes how I work: with patience, flexibility, and genuine respect for how each person experiences the world.

Alongside private practice, I’ve worked in the NHS, education, and mental health charities. I continue to train and learn, because I believe therapy should be both grounded and alive, informed by knowledge, and led by presence.

My work is informed by a therapeutic approach developed by Italian psychiatrist Roberto Assagioli. At its core is the belief that we are more than our difficulties, that within each of us exists a deeper Self, a source of wisdom, love, and inner direction. Therapy becomes a space to reconnect with that centre and live from it more fully.
My Approach
What it’s like to work with me
You don’t need to come with the right words.
You don’t need to know what’s “wrong.”
You don’t need to have a clear goal.
We begin where you are.
I offer a calm, confidential space where you can slow down and listen to what’s happening beneath the surface, the feelings you’ve learned to push aside, the patterns that keep repeating, the parts of you that feel unheard or unsure.
Have you ever noticed how much energy it takes to keep going when you don’t feel fully yourself?
I don’t see you as broken. I see you as someone who has adapted, survived, and made sense of life in the best way they could at the time. Together, we gently explore what no longer fits, and what wants to emerge.
Psychosynthesis: A Psychology of the Soul
My approach is deeply grounded in Psychosynthesis, developed by Italian psychiatrist Roberto Assagioli (1888–1974). A pioneer of transpersonal psychology, Assagioli believed that we are more than our struggles, that within each of us lies a deeper Self, a centre of wisdom, love, and will.
In this approach, you will find
Wholeness
Body, mind, and spirit in balance
Listening
A safe space to be truly heard
Embodiment
Healing through the wisdom of the body
Purpose
Living in alignment with your values
Self
Reconnecting with your authentic essence
My Services
What brings people to therapy?
Therapy isn’t about becoming someone else. It’s about coming back to yourself. People come to me for many reasons. You might recognise yourself in some of these.
You don’t need to be in crisis to come to therapy.
You just need to be willing to listen to yourself.
You feel anxious, burnt out, or constantly “in your head”
You’re struggling with low mood, shame, or harsh self-criticism
Relationships feel confusing, painful, or lonely
You’re carrying grief, loss, or unresolved past experiences
You’re questioning who you are - or who you’re becoming
Life has changed, and you’re not sure how to find your footing again
You live with neurodiversity and have always felt a bit “different”
Or maybe there’s just a quiet inner voice saying: something needs to change
